Meet our key team members below.
MD & Chief Pilot
Gary acquired his first hang glider at the age of 17 and after another 40 years of airsports, piloting UAVs and leading multi-million pound aerospace programmes he’s now in charge of all things aerial. Gary also manages the company and oversees the build of Skylark’s aircraft.
Qualifications include a UAV commercial pilot qualification (BNUC-S), National Private Pilots Licence, 1st Class Degree in electronic engineering and Henley MBA.
Principal Camera Operator
Dan’s been working as a specialised camera operator for more than 10 years. His wide range of high-profile clients includes ITV, Channel 4 and Sky. With extensive experience of Movi and Ronin gimbals, Dan’s transition to aerial camera work was just a natural progression. He always has an eye for what looks best on screen and uses this gift to produce truly stunning footage.
Dan is Skylark’s Principal Camera Operator.
Operations & Support
Bill is an innovative and highly experienced engineer who’s spent his life leading expeditions to far-flung places and supporting film crews in remote areas. He’s designed ‘desert fixes’ for equipment failures in the Sahara and workarounds for broken plant in the rural Philippines. His exploits have earned him a Fellowship of the Royal Geographical Society.
Bill is Skylark’s ‘Mr Fixit’ and can be relied upon to solve the most challenging problems.
